All basic information will be taken by our office manager and we’ll ask a few specific questions particular to the project. At this time, we can email, fax or bring a list of references or recent projects to our initial meeting. An appointment with an estimator can be set with this initial contact.
This meeting will take anywhere from 30 minutes up to 2 hours, depending on the size project. This will give the estimator a chance to see your project, ask questions and develop a “Scope of Work” best suited for your project. At this time, he will be able to answer most of your questions as well as listen to any concerns you may have. With our upfront pricing, most of the time you will be able to receive a verbal estimate that will be within 10% of the contracted price before the end of this appointment. This eliminates the waiting game for the customer and together we can find out if we are the right company for you.
If a customer is looking to employ our services, we provide a detailed, thorough contract that addresses all concerns that you and the estimator discussed. Another consultation may be set up to go over particular details of the contract and to answer any questions. This contract will have a set price so that you know exactly how much the job will cost before we start.
If you think our company is the right fit for you, we ask that you sign the contract (you will receive your own copy). We will start a customer file for you at the office that will include all the details of your project from start to finish.
Color ConsultationIf a color consultation is needed, our designer will contact you and set up an appointment. She will listen to your likes, dislikes, what you are trying to highlight and what you want to blend in so that the perfect colors are chosen for your new paint job.
Approximately 2 weeks before the estimated start date, our office manager will be contacting you to make sure that your colors have been selected and to answer any questions you may have. He will inform you that a foreman will be contacting you in the coming week to schedule a pre-job walk. (You can read a brief introduction to our individual foremen over at Our Staff.)
This is arranged by our foreman at your convenience, so that you can meet the foreman, confirm the details of the job and talk about any concerns that you may have. This meeting will give you a feel for the crew and put you at ease before the job begins.
When our crew arrives, ON TIME, you will first be introduced to the crew who will be working at your home. At the end of the day, you will be kept up to date of how the project is progressing.
Before the job is complete, our foreman will ask to meet with you to address any concerns that you may have to correct them before the job is complete. Our goal is your 100% satisfaction and enthusiasm about your new-look home!
Upon completion, we request 100% payment within 7 days. After payment is received, we will issue a certificate of warranty for 2 years to cover all labor and material should something go wrong. On the back of the warranty, we list your color selections so that it may be easily found the next time we paint your home.
